Cotswold company cabin style beds

Have recently just bought two of these for ds 1 and 2 only to find that the holes are not drilled through ( flat pack, assemble with allen key). To be fair, they offered to take them back but of course by then boys would have been really upset, so we kept them and paid someone with mega power tools to assemble them!) Also, there is to my mind a health and safety issue, since the sliding desk can easily trap little fingers. Have complained twice to the company, and yet to receive a response so if you were thinking of buying one of these, my advice would be .... DON'T !!!

DON'T just about sums up my attitude towards the Cotswold Co. full stop. Too long and dull a story to go into, but IME they have the worst customer services it has ever been my misfortune to encounter, and I wouldn't touch them again with a ten foot pole if they were the last furniture company on earth. So there.
