New curtains - Has anyone tried fake suede / moleskin

Im about to get some new curtains made for my newly decorated living room. The shop has some gorgeous fake suede / moleskin material that they are reccomending. It would drape nicely and it is machine washable so I think they would be O.K, but I have never seen any before and just wanted to check if any of you guys had come across this material before and if it looked O.K as curtains.

i think it looks great just looks abit odd if bits are brushed the wrong way abit

I bought some cheapy ones from Argos for my ds room, as they are very thick, so keep the light out really well. Wasn't expecting much for £20, but actually they look nice, and are very warm. They do hang really well, and they never crumple, so I'd say get some!
