Hi there

Am off to Spain in a couple of weeks closely followed by Scotland (Aviemore) was wondering about buying one of those highchair things made of material that you hook on the back of any seat then pop baby in. Has anyone used them?? Does baby object?? My DD will be 16mths and VERY opinionated.

Obviously space is the biggest issue and these seem to roll up very small.

Any thoughts??

Would love to know what others think about those too. I know several families who use the blow-up ones. Same idea, but the bottom inflates to make more of a cushion and raises kids a bit. They are made by the First years (& probably other companies too). Are there any recommendations on the other part of MN?

I had a fabric one from Boots, which you hooked over the back of a chair and tied round baby. It was great and worked a treat for my boys. And very very transportable. But then my two were younger when I used it. By the time ds2 was 12 months he used to just sit on a cushion.

How about this this

Haven't done a link before so not sure if it'll work...

I had one of the inflatable ones by First years (looks v similar to the Mothercare link below). Not too big to carry round (especially if you have a buggy to throw it under) and probably one of the most useful things I ever bought for travelling. DD even used to ask for it at home in preference to her normal highchair!

I have the baboz fabric one
Works well and has the advantage of straps that go over the shoulders too. Also all one piece so you can't lose parts
