Volvo XC60 & XC90

We currently have an S-Max which is ample room for our 3 children (all in maxi-cosi high backed boosters). We like the look of the Volvo XC60 & XC90 but are wondering if we'll fit 3 car seats in the 2nd row (we don't want to put a child in the 3rd row for regular or long journeys). Does anyone have 3 children on high backed boosters in the 2nd row? We know Volvo have their own high backed boosters you can buy, which may be an option, but would the smaller XC60 be big enough for 3 kids?
Any advice would be greatly received & any pics of how you fit your children I to your Volvo would be fab! In the S-Max there is lots of room to enable an adult/child to fasten the seat belts in the back.

Just bring your existing seats into a Volvo dealership and try them out. I think both models will fit it (and think it's the boot space that's bigger) but one may feel more spacious to you than the other.

We did try in the XC60 but as the outer 2 are Isofix there wasn't enough room for a booster in the middle. So thinking about the Volvo high back booster seats but suspect they wouldn't be Isofix. Would prefer if we could make the XC60 work as the XC90 looks a lot bigger.

The middle seat on my XC90 has a built in booster seat. I've not had child seats in mine but I regularly fill it with teenagers without any problems. I love the car but it's not the most fuel efficient car.....
