Having narrowed down the search for a trike for my two yo I am torn between the Puky & the Kettler. I have seen the Puky but cannot find a store closer than Surrey for the Kettler. I live in Leicestershire can any one suggest somewhere closer for me to go to see a Kettler trike please?

We bought a Kettler gokart in Toys R Us - perhaps they do the trike?

Thanks for the suggestion but have looked there and they don't do the trikes - Any other thoughts?

LOL, I just went with a Puky, couldn't get to see a Kettler, but our friends had one which I looked at a few years ago, but I wasn't interested enough in trikes then to do a proper qualitative analysis.

I bought a CAT1SL Air. It does freewheel, steering lock, parental pole, has a footrest for young babies and of course air tyres and a tip up bucket at the back. Also grabbed a safety harness as my dd is only 15 months. It's excellent. Only negative: the steering lock in locked mode (ie when you're pushing) is not 100% without play IYSWIM. The machine still needs 'correcting' to keep it going 100% straight. I don't know if the Kettler is any different to this.

I picked mine up from the outdoortoycompany.co.uk, which I presume is the store you're referring to in Surrey !

(I would have asked to see / try the Kettler, but they didn't have any trikes on display, only in their stock room).
