Fed up with TISCALI - recommend your Broadband provider here please!

Tiscali are useless, and we loose service, regularly, around 8pm.

Have looked at SKY but read awful reviews.

Is there a good, unlimited use Broadband provider that doesn't cost the earth out there??

Not Pipex - don't anybody go with them! I signed up for broadband but they never provided me with a modem, many many calls and emails later I still didn't get one and asked to cancel, to which they replied that I'd have to pay a fee. They are worse than usless!

I agree with you - Tiscali are bloody awful!!
We used them & had no end of problems with them & then tried talk talk, who were much worse! We are now with AOL, & so far have been very impressed with them.

Don't go with Wanadoo, whatever you do! We changed to BT a little while ago and it's been fine.

Well we use Virgin, and they are great, no problems, at all. Any queries we have are dealt with very quickly and their staff are great. £14.99 a month.

We already have Sky & Freeview (may be ditching SKY soon) so Cable not really an option.

Has anyone tries SKY?

Another NOT vote for Wanadoo, I've been with them since January and my wireless connection is still not working Unfortunately for me I'm on a 12 month contract...

Agree wanadoo (Orange now?) are crap. We switched to BT - no problems. It is supposed to be limited use but wehaven't had any problems and there's five of us here. Two laptops pretty much permanently connected.

Avoid supanet they lose me at least 3 days a month of surfing.

I've got Pipex broadband, and unlike Rhubabrb, have had no problems at all- they sent me a modem and those little filter thingies that go on the phone line within 48 hours and the whole process was very smooth and easy.

Pipex are usually ranked in the top 10 providers.

i was with tiscali..total nightmare, spam, lost connection, no end of technical probs, then i moved house and cancelled, but several months later they claimed they were still providing me, despite the fact that my old number no longer existed.awful customer service..would never touch them again
