Any good children's music CD's out there?

Hi, can anyone recommend any music CD's for me and my 1-year-old ds to listen to, that I won't be driven mad by and that he will want to bob up and down to in a first attempt at dancing? So far we have tried a Tumble Tots one (rather annoying woman's voice) and a Tiny Talk one (just a voice with no music that after a while starts to sound a bit dismal). We went to France recently and picked up a free CD with a French magazine and that was really nice - but obviously teh songs are in french which doesn't help ds's English... Any suggestions gratefully received.

DS and I enjoy listening to Disney CD's together - I can put up with them as they are in the Disney character voices rather than the usual session singing woman and man!

Putumayo cds are fab and they have some specially for children, eg Sing Along and World Playground .

All the Playsongs cds are also lovely, with real instruments and folk singers performing the songs.

DS loves one called Sea Tunes.

Well DD loves the Wiggles, and I don't mind them either, compared to the mindnumbing Hi5.

Oh yes Putumayo - we have one with World Folk songs (not sure exact title - I at work) with Bling Blang hit it with a hammer, Banana Phone and songs by Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. My dd (17 months) starts bouncing up and down and clapping hands as soon as we put it on. She also likes one of most recent David Byrne CDs(did listen to it a lot in the car when was PG with her)

That is the Sing Along one elf - it is fab, isn't it?
