Try photobox.co.uk. Deals on at the mo.

AChickenBotherer · 28/09/2006 22:23

get kids to doo them with glitter. v cheap and has 'personal touch' that elderlies like

soapbox · 28/09/2006 22:24

If you have a photo printer, download Camedia Master (free) and make your own

suzi2 · 28/09/2006 22:37

www.yellowmoon.org.uk do calenders for about £4 that are black and white for the kids to colour in with spaces to stick on photos. snapfish do nice printed ones for about £15 but I think you get a discount if you bulk order.

hairymclary · 28/09/2006 22:40

ds is too young to do anything aside from scribbling, which he'll only do in black

will check out photobox and snapfish though, thanks

The ones we got from the NCT were fantastic, much much much better quality (and quite reasonable as they did a multi-deal a bit closer to xmas) than the ones we bought last year from photobox. NCT photos were bigger, and there was more space to write on. Photobox photos were absolutely awful, but maybe we got unlucky? NCT a bit more faffy to do as you had to post them a cd, but worth it imo and I'll be doing it again this year as they've been such a hit with everyone! 2nd year we got one for us, forgot to do that 1st time round - we really felt we'd missed out as we don't have one to keep now.

Asda photo shop on line has some offers on at the moment. Did a calander last year for PIL and they really like it.

hairymclary · 30/09/2006 19:43

thanks, will check out both of those

StrawberryMoon · 30/09/2006 19:56

gltc and vista print do them but about £10-£15 gltc and sometimes free vistaprint but you have to pay to upload photos i think?..gltc also do calendars with large blank boxes aboce dates so your little ones can get to work on each month

tortoise · 30/09/2006 20:06

NCT one here

hairymclary · 02/10/2006 20:46

oh thanks tortoise, that works out cheapest so far as they do a reduction for 3 or more!

They're even more of a bargain than I remembered! And I think you get 13 photos (1 for the cover) even better. Just got to get a christmas hat for ds so we can take the december 'shot of the month'
