Mega blocks compatible with lego??

i know this may sound like a silly question, but are they compatible if they are the same size??

Yes, they work together - but megabloks don't feel the same, and I don't think they connect together as firmly as proper Lego.

(I'm talking about the little stuff, btw - I don't think the chunky megabloks are compatible with Duplo)

No, they quite often get stuck together and its hard to seperate....So i would definately say no..

oh dear (c**p), i've just spent a tenner on 1000 pieces of mega blocks for DD1. but we are also getting her some Lego for Xmas. i was hoping they'd be compatible to bulk it up iykwim.

the big megablocks will fit onto duplo but the duplo won't go on top of the megablocks. My LOs will only play with one or the other, because it can be frustrating.
