Beautiful, but OMG expensive!

fattiemumma · 28/09/2006 17:44

I am in love with those Luchia Boots!

have no idea where on earth i would wear them but they are soo nice.

sadly Serenity they dont seem that expensive when your used to paying way over the top simply to find shoe's that actually fit.

serenity · 28/09/2006 17:52

No, I just buy shoes that don't fit because I can't pay over the top

fattiemumma · 28/09/2006 18:08

i used to do that too.
i would constantly buy sling back shoes so that i could loosen the strap. or i would wear mens trainers during the winter and flip flops in summer.

hated it. its only now that i have been able to find shoes that fit, i stil have to be very carefull as to the styles i buy as they need to be worth their money in how much i would wear them.

MegaLegs · 28/09/2006 18:21

I think this is the best site I've seen, but yes it's v.expensive. I usually buy shoes at Tallgirls, evans and I got some suede boots from LTS this year.
Those Luchia boots are raunchy fattiemumma !

I know...im a secret Madamme Whiplash donchaknow lol

i get the majority of mine from Evans too. the only prob i have is that they are sooo wide, if i get shoe's rather than boots they slip off my feet!

isit 9 west that do up to an 11 as well. they are really expensive though.

MegaLegs · 28/09/2006 18:27

LOL at Miss Whiplash
Yes, the evans shoes are wide but I'm a 10 so sometimes I just get a 9. Didn't know about 9 west, must check that out and start saving. Off to put kids to bed.

Bumping this for any other size 9-11 ladies.

have you bought from the site? just wondering if theres any extra length in the boots (height) and is the width ok.

me and sis end up in evans but always have a trouble with knee length boots as they are usually too wide at the top and not quite enough height to make it to our knees.

evans sale is probably the best for cheaper shoes - we too drop a size to even out the width. Also magnus next to LTS in london is pretty good (got site too).

MegaLegs · 29/09/2006 19:56

How tall are you and your sis leximum? I have the same trouble with evans boots, too wide around the calves.

Havn't bought anything from this site and probably won't for awhile as I've just bought boots and 3 pairs of shoes from tall girls. i wish I'd seen these first though.

I'd forgotten about Magnus, I used to get stuff from them mail order.

we're both 6ft but my feet stopped growing when they hit an 8, sis is nearer a 10. knee length boots are usually 3ins off knee.
