I'm looking for a good one, we've been using a rear one so far but my dd keeps swinging from one side to the other. It's uncomfortable for me and not very safe. Thanks.

I've not heard good things about them. Have you thought about a trailer? I hate our bike seat, but have no problems with the trailer.

my mate has got one and theres not much to them but she loves hers and so does her 4 year old who is a chunky monkey.
Im on the look out for one so shall follow this thread.
I think that she got hers from Halfords

Thanks for the replies.
I've thought about a trailer, but they seem a bit over the top to me just for the odd ride. Plus I'm not very happy with the thought of keeping dd at road level. What are the bad things you heard about the front mounted ones Becky?

My neighbour had one and said it made the bike very unstable, much more so than rear mounted and urged against when I was thinking of one. Re keeping dd at road level - I can guarantee she'll be a lot safer in a trailer than a bike seat, esp a front mounted one.

I'd heard the same re stability. If you're not comfortable with the added instability of a rear seat I think a front-mounted one may be worse.
