er... slow puncture, what should I do???

Tyre pressure checked, always do it to 33

3 tyres between 32 / 33

front driver tyre at 26.

It looked a bit 'not rounder' as the rest, and it has a flat nail in it which I think has been there a while!

so it looks like a slow puncture.

Should I keep topping up pressure every so often or do i need to get the tyre changed?

Top it up & take it to a tyre place where they will hopefully be able to repair the tyre for minimal cost. DO NOT remove the nail, you will probably end up with a very flat tyre. (as my father once discovered in a motorway service station)

I would get it sorted before winter sets in. Depending on where the nail is they can either repair or replace the tyre. Just pick a reputable local tyre place and get it done.

I'd take it to an independent tyre place (not Kwik fit). They may be able to repair it. Or else find you a part worn or budget replacement to keep the price down. Don't leave it. It's not really roadworthy, which might be illegal or invalidate your insurance or something. And more importantly cause and accident and injury to you, your passengers or other road users.

I would sort it out today. I would take it to the local tyre place and see if they can fix the puncture. It usually only costs about £10.

OK. Can you do with a tyre blow out at 70mph and slammed into the scenery, seriously injuring or killing yourself, anyone who may also be in the car and anyone unlucky enough to be in your path?

There are four things that govern how well your car accelerates, brakes and steers - I will never understand how people can be so blasé about their tyres.

And yes, the mechanic did say it could wait til winter, but, being very safety conscious, I had them done today.

that's why there's a time difference, as I've been sat at the garage!

They a vay naice and new looking, may force me to clean my car. Which will be a herculean effort hahaha!!

I'm used to an exclamation mark being an indication of exclaiming, rather than humour.

Maybe, but there are plenty of people out there who think cars get bought, then have an MOT and that's it for costs - no brake fluid changes, brake pads down to the metal, brake discs worn down to the vents or completely worn away, £40 for a tyre is too expensive, no oil changes, blown headlight lamps. You didn't exactly come across as any different.

Not sure if this will help anyone, but I have been having the same problem with my Quinny Buzz getting puncture's constantly!
This has been a nightmare when I have a boxer dog to walk twice a day!
I live in Middlesbrough and there is a company called Greentyre who specialise in puncture proof tyres and they have a tyre specifically for buggys, luckily because I live down the road I popped in and spoke to a lady called Lauren, her contact number is 01642223322 they where so helpful and fitted the tyres for free. Well worth a call, I got mine 2 months ago now and they are still going strong!
