Time is running out too!
For dd's 3rd birthday in 2 weeks. I've seen some lovely white wooden ones but they are very expensive and also her room is bright orange so it would look a bit out of place.

Toys R us have a plastic one that is different colours and reduced to £14.99! The other ones are Disney Princess which quite frankly make me want to bork.

Where else has them? I seem to be having a bit of a mental block this morning.

Argos maybe

ELC do a pink and purple one with a little stool, it plays music too, but may not go with a bright orange room!

YellowFeathers · 26/09/2006 10:11

Oh yeah, never even thought of them.
Should have been the first place to look!

YellowFeathers · 26/09/2006 10:14

this is the one at toys r us

I can just remember one I had when I was little and it was quite long and had a big mirror in the middle. All the ones I've looked at seem really tiny.

Yes, although we must have last year's model as it's a different colour! It's very sturdy and the stool also gets used to stand on in the bathroom. I have 3 dds, so things need to be tough!

YellowFeathers · 26/09/2006 10:18

That sounds good.
What do you get with it?

A little collection of hairbrushes, comb, mirror with a handle and some clip on earrings and a necklace (or could have been a tiara) and it plays tunes. Also 2 little metal keys for the drawers. (That is the ELC one, I mean)

YellowFeathers · 26/09/2006 10:20

I think I'll go for that one.
The toys r us one looks a bit flimsy.

The ELC one comes with a battery hairdryer as well.

anniediv · 26/09/2006 10:22

Oh yes, I forgot that.

YellowFeathers · 26/09/2006 10:31

Just bought it.
I think she'll really like it.
Thanks for the suggestions
