Self-cleaning ovens - anyone have one?

When we eventually get our kitchen units replaced we also need to replace our over - so I'm considering getting a self cleaning one (left to me the oven only gets cleaned once or twice a year - it is my least favourite household task). So does anyone have one, are you happy with it and is it worth the extra money?

I had one and am missing it mightily - this was a Smeg one, and you just turned it up to full heat and all of the dirt disintegrated into a kind of powder that you wipe out. The only, slight, disadvantage, was that it was a bit difficult if you wanted to cook something at full heat, but this was way outweighed by the fact that I never had to clean the oven!

Didn't think it cost that much extra - I got it from one of the discount places at a very good price.

Secondhandrose - I did search before posting but couldn't find anything (lots of posts on cleaning normal ovens though!). Could you do a link?

I'm not too keen on a Smeg for other reasons - anyone got a Neff or I think Siemens do one?
