A bit naff , but would do the job! I got some from ds from there when he was about that age that were like crocodiles. They may have more of a selection in the actual shops?

primark do slipper socks around now for autumn/winter usually £1.50 we buy them every year..

...and laneydaye - am not near a Primark though...think his original pair came from there and they're now wearing out....
