I have just fitted one of these things to stop my tich of a DD being garroted by the seat belt when in her booster seat. They are brilliant - retail at ?12.99 and are a brilliant invention.

Thought this was a great product when I watched DD the other night. Wish it had been around when my 2 were younger.. Really liked the guy who invented it as well - hope he does well with it.

I didn't quite udnerstand this. I f a child is still beign garotted by the seat belt, shouldn't they be in a car seat? ds is four, and would be garotted, but is in the high back. dd is 6 and is fine in a normal booster cushion without being garotted.

Gingerbear · 23/09/2006 21:27

depends on the design of the seat Kelly. Have a look at the pictures on the website.

I see! It would depend on the car. We don't have problems in ours, but in some of those pics, the seat belt was way off where it should have been. Def a good idea then.

Skribble · 23/09/2006 23:12

Even with a booster seat some seat belt diagonals sit really high, my car is Ok but MIl's car belts seem to be higher. DD's booster seat has a clip to do this attached on a belt to the seat

Gingerbear · 23/09/2006 23:15

Probably the same saddos who find David Tennant sexy.

Duncan's the dry boak, but he makes even David Tennant look good.

PinkTulips · 23/09/2006 23:17

yuk, he's vile!

PinkTulips · 23/09/2006 23:18

also thought at the time that the new laws (old laws here) would make this obsolete but obviously i was wrong

Betterware have marketed a seatbelt adjuster for years. It fits on the lap part of the belt but by making sure that part is right it automatically realigns the shoulder part.

£2.99 for 2 so a lot cheaper too.
