Anyone help, tried everything. how do i clean the hood of a 3 year old urban detour mothercare twin???

does it come off? can i buy a new one? any magic cleaning tips? its been given to me but the hood is dirty and mouldy.....

lift up the ends slightly, there is a screw on the arm, unscrew it. then at the top when the other bar is is another screw, unscrew it, then sli[p the whole lot off and wash it in the washing machine. make sure you dont lose the screws.

thanks, was bit scared to dismantle it but really needs a good wash. i'll do it tomorrow am.. excited now! 40 degree wash ok?

yes, but try 30 or a delicate cycle first if you have one.

oh you have to lift the front bar out of the back bit where the screw is.

scared, prob won't be able to get it back!!!!

oh you will. you only need to unscrew one side. its very easy, i have cleaned loads this way.
