Dining chair covers??

Hi

Not specific to parenting really but I need some loose covers for my dining chairs as mine are covered in ground-in yogurt, playdoh, paint and various different kinds of breakfast cereals.

They are the kind with wooden legs and fabric covered seats and back, I think from Habitat (bought pre-children!)

Ideally I'd like something informal, not the full length formal kind with bows that you see at wedding receptions! Also cheap.

I have seen something perfect on Pottery Barn (US website) but they won't ship to the UK.

I asked about getting them reupholstered but am looking at 30-40 pounds per chair - yikes.

Anyone got any suggestions for me? Thanks!

Have never seen any stretchy ones, I must admit.
Don't habitat do slip covers for dining chairs? Sure i saw some on the website recently. Also la redoute do loose ones for sofas & armchairs (which look v.nice indeed, I'm about to buy one) maybe they do some for dining chairs as well. And Oka direct do some shortie ones that are quite nice in various colours here

Thanks - those Oka ones are perfect although a tad pricey. I wish I could sew then I would make my own.

Will keep looking - thanks for suggestion re Habitat, but theirs are full length ones. (Our
Dining table and chairs are in our kitchen, which is why I want something short and casual)

Anyone good at sewing want a little job??!
