Where is the best place to get sunglasses for ds twins who will be 2 1/2 this summer! Last summer all the sunnies I saw either didn't have proper UV protection or were pink or obviously meant for little girls!

So where did you get yours?

Don't know if they still do them, but we got ours from blooming marvellous. The frames are nice and bendy so if they get thrown to the floor they're unlikely to shatter. think they were UV protection ones. Hang on...

found some - these aren't the exact same style we got last year, but looks like they do the same job

Hmm... says up to 2 years... but pretty sure our pair still fit ds and he's 3 now...

Done an internet search and these look promising:

Sorry, will shut up in a minute Also found these, which are a bit more expensive, but the band might help them keep them on a bit longer than the normal ear loops!!

I hadn't thought about sunglasses for ds in the summer- he'll be 21/2 too, so it was a good reminder. Hopefully we'll get a good summer ( in sunny scotland ), but will use them on holiday anyway. These look the biz.Thank you.

This will bump it up to the top but nevermind, have been distracted somewhat lately.

Anyway, thanks for that. Considering all the warnings about sun protection I would have thought it would have been easier to find. I think I am going to have to go to a shop to make sure they fit (not that ds twins have big heads or anything, well ds twin2 doesn't! Bad mummy!)

used baby banz for dd - and they are in two sizes with the strap to keep them on. They were brilliant... Proper uv protection and developed in Aus to highest sun protection standards....

Do a search for baby banz as a number of optometrists stock them. I just googled baby banz and checked them out but bought mine from an aussie supplier as we were going there for holidays.
