search on here and you will find some very unhappy people... me included

chocolateshoes · 16/09/2006 18:56

Don't do it!!!!! Don't have time to write it all down but really, you'll be wasting your time & money....

Pennies · 16/09/2006 19:33

Noooooooooooooo!!!

Do not touch with a 10ft barge pole.

Ordered a high chair and they debited the cost of a high chair plus the cost of a double pushchair from our card. Couldn't get in touch with them by phone (you can ONLY email and the pnly phone line they have is their sales line. They did not respond to emails. Through other MN'ers on here though I got the MD's email address (which seemed to have been set up to specifically deal with compalints that had come in from people who had been discussing it on forums) and eventually got it sorted but it took bloody ages.

GGgggggrrrrrrrrrrrr

Flumpybumpy · 16/09/2006 19:33

So wish I had read this earlier!!! Ordered a buggy liner 4 weeks ago, they took money immediately, stil haven't received it and they are not responding to my emails. Can't phone them because they don't accept incoming calls.

Pennies · 16/09/2006 19:37

Email them at [email protected] which is the email I ended up using.

Watchdog investigated them a while back I believe.

chocolateshoes · 16/09/2006 19:38

I did get through in the end by using the sales phone line as well as sending some very stroppy e-mails. I had read a complaint to the Money section of the Guardian so I mentioned that as well, saying I would contact them too if I was not refunded in 24hrs. Good luck - you need to hassle them daily.

longwaytogo · 16/09/2006 19:56

noooo don't touch them we bought from them 3.8 yrs ago and it still puts a foul taste in my mouth they were an absolute nightmare, reported them to trading standards who investigated and said that trading standards in area where they based had oddles of complaints. Don't know how they still open really.

clewley · 16/09/2006 22:25

Thank you all, think we will look elsewhere, we did think it seemed too good to be true thats why we asked b4 we ordered!!

wow, so wish I had checked before we ordered. I was just about to start a chat about how awful they are and then found this message. You are so lucky not to have gone with them. I won't go in to the whole story but they were the biggest cause of stress for me during my pregnancy and I still have not got my money back and ended up with the completly wrong buggy. In future I too will seek advise and my advise to anyone is 'DON'T GO NEAR TWO LEFT FEET'.

IdrisTheDragon · 13/10/2006 21:20

Not the best shopping ex[erience I have ever had.

hulababy · 13/10/2006 21:22

Do NOT use them! Had a nightmare last Christmas with them and ended up having to comtact the MD, having already spoken with Watchdog an been in contact with Trading Standards. The e-mail given below goes direct to the MD. I never did recieve my item and it took 3 months to get my money back. Their customer service is non existence.

Not worth the hassle.

They have bad reviews all over MN and other parenting websites, and also on sites such as money saving expert.

Pollybloodyanna · 13/10/2006 21:23

I agree, don't do it. I had problems with a pushchair I ordered from them when it went faulty.

MumAndSon · 22/11/2006 17:54

Alas, if only I had researched them before placing large order with them! I'm now battling for a refund...yet another unhappy customer.

LIZS · 22/11/2006 17:56

Have you emailled their MD and /or Watchdog. His email address is lower down on this thread !

Roobie · 22/11/2006 17:58

Yep - also had a palaver with them a while back - can't believe that so many others have had the same experience as I thought it was just bad luck.

poppyh · 22/11/2006 19:07

DO NOT USE! Had a very bad experience with them. only got my money back as credit card company got involved on our behalf. Absolutely diabolical company with no scruples at all.

poppyh · 22/11/2006 19:07

The MD is called Richard Bone btw if you need it

springer72 · 25/11/2006 10:12

I had a terrible experience with them too. Took months to get all the bits for my travel system, long after ds was born. It was only resolved once I got the contact details of the MD from Beds Trading Standards and kept pestering him.

sahmtotwo · 25/11/2006 13:04

Watchdog did do a report on them. They seem to be a very bad company for delivery, problems with their products, refunds etc. Watchdog has had hundreds of complaints from viewers, if you add that to the ones noted here I would say DON'T ever buy from them. If you put Watchdog two left feet in the search bar of the BBC website then you will find the report. Though it doesn't do the actual TV report justice.
