Hip carry for older baby

I had back/ pelvis problems throughout pregnancy that eased off when dd 3 was born. She's now 12 months and the back pain has returned- I think it's from carrying her on one hip all the time. I have a much loved mei tai but wondered if there's something I could buy to use as a hip carrier and spread the weight a little bit. Ideally it would be something I could wear most of the day and pop her on and out quickly/ easily as needed. Does such a thing exist? Preferably cheap or preloved as hopefully she will start walking soon and become less clingy!

I use a ring sling for my (large) 2.5 yr old. You can use it as a hip carrier or front/back as needed. Make sure it has a wide shoulder area and it should be supportive enough.

Ring sling or a scootababy.

I had SPD though and for me hip carrying is still not a good idea - front of back much better. Would your DD go for that? Maybe a nice, high back carry so she can see what's going on? I use a buckles carrier for this.
