HELP me choose group 3 car seat- confused and desparate!

I have just weighed dd and discovered she is quite a bit over max weight(18 kg) for her carseat. I was just about to buy graco rallysport as its best buy on mumsnet and saw it for only £50. However i then looked at which report threads and can't see it recommended! Anyone know how safe it is? After this thought i might try concord lift evo (although shame no cup holder, dd would love this). However I was going to buy online without fitting. Am hoping these sorts of seats should fit easier in all cars. Am i right? Thing is we change our main car every 6 months to different makes/models so it needs to be able to fit in most cars (mainly seat/volkswagen/audi). Please help if you can. thanks.

We have got a concord carseat - the pink one can't quite remember the model. Got it from Kiddicare, delivered the next day. It's great.

ds has a Maxi Cosi Rodi and it is fine, would fit most cars I think, £50 in Halfdords atm. Also Britax Hiliner can be bought for between £35 and 40 and is similar. Graco have a poor safety record although think the newer one is supposed to be better but may have missed the last Which ? test as it was very selective .

britax hi liner is supposed to be very good, and cheaper than graco.
