Anyone got one of those Bosch washing machines with the 15 minute extra quick wash cycle?

If so do they really clean lightly soiled clothes in only 15 min?

I've got a Bosch with Rinse/Freshen Up but I don't really know how it works I just use it for very soiled stuff, to get rid of theworst of the soiling IYSWIM.

I only use it when have left damp clothes in the machine for, ahem, a few days

Tinker have you tried it as an actual wash cycle?

I haven't, Jasper, in fact I've been wondering if you could put soap powder in and do it as such. Of course, I could look in the manual if only I could devote a week to looking for it...

Think I've just put some conditioner in?

Gawd, there are a lot of misunderstood Bosches out there...

Don't know if its the one you mean, but my bosch washing machine has a 18 min freshen up cycle.
Its only meant to be used for rinsing items like new clothes/items that have been stored a while etc.
You can only use it with conditioner not powder. I just use it for rinsing cloth nappies before they get a proper wash or like tinker if I have left a load in there too long and it needs a rinse through!

Oh, that's the one I've got - 18 min. I wonder why only conditioner - I suppose it's not long enough to wash and rinse out the soap.

No it's not the freshen up cycle. It's a separate 15 min quick wash cycle available on some of the newest models. Most quick wash cycles are half an hour or so long but this machine's special feature is a 15 min wash cycle
