I got a new phone and couldn't get the back off. Felt completely pathetic and took it into the shop ... they did sneer and look very condescending ... but then it took two of them about 15 minutes to do it

If you want the proper instructions, join the nokia online club - all the manuals are on line so you just look up the model of phone.

Personally I find the good hard throw at the wall technique works best tho.
