Round bay windows - what kind of curtain rail do I need?

Am moving into a new flat soon that has a rounded bay window. What kind of curtain rail do I need to get? Am I going to have to use one of those horrible plastic tracks?

What's the window like?
Is it truly rounded, or could you get away with eg three straight poles with angled connectors?

this place custom-bend poles but are not cheap. They also do bendable poles, which are cheaper but look tricky to get right, and a variety of readybent corner bits for fixing striaght poles together.

TBH the plastic track isn't that bad - it disappears into the white window frame.
Have a look at what's in the flat at the moment - we thought we'd have a similar bay nightmare but when we moved in discovered a very expensive custom-made corded track had been there all along and we hadn't noticed.

ours is a truly round bay window (well semi circle) and we could only get a plastic track to fit, even had someone come round from a made to maesure curtain company who said the only one that would fit is a plastic one. but to be honest you can't see it once the curtains are up so it doesn't bother me anymore.

Could you not get an metal pole made to fit by a blacksmith/wrought iron company/metalworks factory ?

Look in your yellow pages -we found someone locally who made a balcony rail to our designs and measurements and it wasn't stupidly expensive either.
