Baby bjorn 1 2 3/general bouncy chairs advice please!

Does anyone have the baby bjorn bouncy chair? Is it worth the money? I'm looking for a bouncy chair/rocker to replace the one I've got. my dd is 8 weeks old but large for her age (14 lbs!) so need something that will last a while.. any ideas?

I like mine DD is 10 months and still in it. Have to say DS never had one at all (just lay on the floor) So i'm not sure how necessary they are but it does keep her safe from DS running around when the need arises!

A friend of mine's got the Baby Bjorn one. It looks very nice, but I'm not sure how much more useful it is than one that's half the price. Her baby's only a few months though, so I'm waiting to see if she uses it when he's older. Sorry, not very helpful...
