DS1 HAS NEVER BOTHERED WITH THE OVEN, BUT WE DID GET THOSE THINGS THAT COVER THE KNOBS. HE FIDDLES WITH THE COVERS ALL THE TIME, SO WHO KNOWS IF HE WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME WITH THE ACTUAL KNOBS?!

I trained mine to stand on the other side of the kitchen when I opened the oven door.
I would think that if the oven was on - they wouldn't want to open it as it would be too hot and if the oven was off, it wouldn't matter of they opened it!
(i.e. what is point of oven locks?!)
