HELP - ordering from Next for first time

I want to (urgently) order some bridesmaid shoes from Next. When I go to open an account, it insists that I have a catalogue, costing £3.75. Add to that £3.75 postage, £7 is a lot to pay on top of a pair of £14 shoes.
Other than trying to find someone with an account already, is there a way of doing it cheaper (discount code for instance, ordering instore, delivery to store)?

Not 100% sure because I've never ordered but I'm think I read somewhere that I if you order something you are not charged for the directory.
