Earlybird · 05/09/2006 22:11

Nope. Like 'em, as am determined not to have a frantic and panic filled December where I overspend 'cause I haven't made time to shop properly (or had good ideas).

SherlockLGJ · 05/09/2006 22:12

hunkermunker · 05/09/2006 22:15

I'm going to start a thread SPECIFICALLY because of this one. See if you can spot it

HyacinthB · 05/09/2006 22:15

It's been 25 degrees outside today... discussion re Christmas does seem somehow...inappropriate

moondog · 05/09/2006 22:17

It's such lemming like behaviour isn't it.

Here's how to do Christmas everyone.Listen up.

Buy some veggies and a turkey.
Cook

Buy a few presents and wrap.

Drink some wine, and possibly an ill advised egg liqueur.

Voila

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 05/09/2006 22:18

if you're on a budget Christmas has to start early.

if you tend to have hectic time in December because of work (or in my case Church) stuff you have to start early.

If you have a wedding anniversary and 3 birthdays between now and Christmas (DH, DS1 and DS2) before Christmas you have to start early.

If all of the above apply you definitely have to start early

Imafairy · 05/09/2006 22:23

Hunker - do I win a prize for spotting the thread (didn't like to post on it though....come to thing of it, neither has anyone else....

hunkermunker · 05/09/2006 22:29

Bastards

Don't worry, I'll post...

magnolia1 · 05/09/2006 22:30

Expecting a 5th baby probab ly going to be early aswell. Can't leave it till oct/nov so got to start now

dewmeadow · 05/09/2006 22:31

if I were queen Id ban all mention of Christmas until December 1

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 05/09/2006 22:33

well yes DM - if you were a queen you could afford to leave all mention of Christmas until December......unless of course you had family overseas in which case you'd need ot make sure you posted early to make sure they go their on time
