a narrow carseat? does one exist?

needs to be less than 16.5 inches (for our flight to cyprus) and the airline said we can strap DD in it on the plane no probs....this is cool, however her car seat measures 19inches....

does anyone know of a narrow fitting carseat? Have googled but can only seem to find ones abroad.

maxi cosi priori, or a britax eclipse si? they are all i can think of, but they only have narrow bases. what about a chicco max-3S? thats pretty narrow and is suitable from 9 to 36 kg. its quite rubbish though.. ah but it wont have a harness though! bah!
