You could buy her a nice big handbag from a normal shop and equip it with a travel changing mat, an insulated bottle sleeve (if she needs one) and a travel pack of wipes.

There are some places (will post if I remember where) that do changing mats with enough pockets for wipes and a couple of clean nappies and fold up into a handy flat packet - ideal for slinging into any bag to make it a changing bag.

I had one of these when my ds was little and I found it very useful. Mine was red, but they have even nicer colours now, I don't need another one but I want the blackberry one.

Think this is the kind of compact set MrsBadger means - or the deluxe version here at the price of the second one, though!

The "Baba bing" from John Lewis is fab. Has phone holder, key and dummy clips and is really well thought out. Integral changing mat and stuff and cos it's black my dh doesn't mind carting it around...

I had teh shanghai when dd was first born and then got this skip hop and it is great, can be either a messenger bag type bag (and so doesn't look like a 'changing bag') or clips onto the pushchair which I find invaluable. Have tried changing to a normal big handbag but prefer this - particularly if pushing the buggy.

Their customer service is brilliant too - if you break a clasp they send them free and I think someone on here lost their long strap (as it detaches to clip on to pushchair) and they sent another one free.
