Anything you have been given that has been especially nice/useful?
I have to send a pressie by Sat to friends down south.

DD had:

jewellery
lovely hardback books (could send something from amazon - like collection of winnie the pooh or beatrix potter)
childrens bonds from post office

Other nice ideas I can think of - money box (although might get lots), a rose in a pot which has the same name as the christenee, or a wooden noahs ark.

I think wooden chairs are also lovely but not sure you would be able to get one sent by sunday.

this is the only one I can find and it seems to be a hedge rose - not that I know much about types of roses but might not be the sort of thing ?

sounds nice !

At least with that sort of thing there is less chance of getting the same thing as someone else/ its easy to send and it can be used for years to come/ passed down etc....
