anyone got a smeg fridge freezer- any good and what width do you need?

hi there fridge freezer packed in and thinking of getting a smeg fridge freezer. how much width do you need for one? Would you recommend - many thanks

they are a standard 600mm are they not?

No personal experience, but some good friends got one of the trendy, rounded ones, and it was terrible - bits kept falling off it from the word go. Fortunately they had bought it from John Lewis, and so could return it and swap it for something better - and apparently when they did so, the assistant said that this happened quite a lot with Smeg.

gs - we've been looking at these in the shop and there is no difference from a regular fridge freezer. They open into their own space. Unless you're looking at a different model?

we had a disaster with ours. plastic bits broke really quickly and after two years the whole thing broke and couldn't be repaired, had to be thrown away!!!!

a friend had a crap cooker from them too.
