Need replacement for a Focus Estate

My car is on the way out and so we're looking at alternatives. We have DD is nearly 3 and there is no sign of DC2.

I mainly use my car for travelling to work so its just me, or shopping trips at weekends. We have a pickup as well, and so there is an argument that I don't need such a large car. A BIT of boot space would be good though.

My go-to brand would be a skoda Octavia, but the reviews say its bigger than a focus so I worry its too big. A fabia may be a bit small though....

What do other people drive?

I've got a Focus Estate and love it. Best car I've ever had.

Do they still make the Ford Fusion? I had one before and its smaller than a focus but still a good size boot.
