Redlorry75 · 31/08/2006 15:28

You can get nice belts for boys and girls at H&M and they are really reasonable. Or why not give E-bay a try

Coolmama · 31/08/2006 15:29

oh goodie - have the same problem with my DS so this info is great - thank you!

mumfor1standfinaltime · 31/08/2006 15:29

camera, have been looking for a belt for ds he is 19m and tall and skinny. It is so annoying when buying trousers as the waist is always too big and you just can't go one size less due to height lol!
Thanks for link sherlock, will probably order one.

mumfor1standfinaltime · 31/08/2006 15:30

oooh oooh h and m, will be looking there too. How exciting!

Shop like GAP - expensive I know (ask a grandparent to treat them) and sometimes H&M also do clothes with adjustable waists - like maternity trousers. Then the trousers can grown with you child - really really good for shorts as length is not an issue. My DD who will be 3 at the end of Set wore the same part of 18-24 month old H&M shorts this year as last year!

Gap jeans are the only brand that fit skinny DD1, who is 3, b/c they have an adjustable waist. She's also got long, skinny legs and narrow feet, C width, that only fit into Start Rites or Kickers.

My purse bleeds!

Pumpkin Patch also do belts for chidren. Look under 'extras' on the website

Seona1973 · 31/08/2006 20:17

next do adjustable belts - they do say from 3 years but they should adjust small enough for a 2 year old. Also, letterbox do adjustable 'snake belts' which would fit ok too.

H&M ones are fab, they do girls and boys ones from 1.99 I think. They're elasticated so child can pull down trousers ok for toilet.

Also, just got letterbox catalogue in post today and they have them suitable from 18months.
