Boots Travel Bottle Warmer

Hi

Could anybody advise me on how effective the travel bottle warmers are. I've just bought a Boots one off ebay so I can heat baby food up when we're away. The grubby old thing arrived today and when I tried it out the plastic just gets lukewarm - it would take forever to warm up a pot of baby food. Have I been diddled or are they all like this?
Many thanks

they are rubbish - it took about 20 minutes to make a bottle of milk slightly lukewarm when I tried it. You'd be much better off with a flask of hot water e.g. fisher price or Thermos

They are all like thisd I'm afraid. The fisher price flask is fab though and very safe.

we have a thermos one which is ace. left hot water in it to check out how long it kept it hot and 24 hours later it was still too hot to put your finger in. havent used it for a bit but seem to remember it holds enough for 2 bottles.

with ds1 we had one of those things which you click a little button and it goes hard and warm then have to boil it so it is ok to use again, that was utterly useless
