I want to withdraw any positive comments I have made in the past on year about Clavinovas ...

I play in church every week, on a Clavinova, and have never had a problem with it.

But I've had two Sundays off, and during that time have done a lot of playing/practising at home (far more than usual): I've bought myself some new music, and have had a fab time with it.

Anyway going back to a Clavinova today, after three weeks off, was awful. It was truly dreadful. I was astonished at the difference in touch and feel; it was so dead.

So I withdraw all previous comments in favour of them

Absolutely. Mine's a decent piano, but it's by now means a great piano, but it's better to play than a clavinova.
