Our dyson has bitten the dust (well, more accurately, it's bitten off too much cat litter!! ) we have killed it - which I gather is no mean feat! There's no repairing it, it's gone. So..... need to go to Comet or Currys and buy a new one. Ideally bagless, anyone got any recommendations. We have house cats so it needs to deal with some pretty heavy sucking! TIA

Miele cat and dog is brilliant There is a special super brush with it that spins and picks up loads of hair

another vote for Miele

Absolutely Miele Cat and Dog. It's not bagless though. We have 2 cats and a dog, and the Miele deals with them all. I think we paid around £169 through kelkoo.co.uk. I buy the bags direct from Miele as they're a damn sight cheaper than in the shops. Why do you prefer bagless? We had one before the Miele and in comparison it was cr*p. It wasn't a Dyson though.

If you have mostly floors, get a Roomba, floor-cleaning robot. They're brilliant. We got ours on eBay for about 100 pounds. You'll never have to go around the room again! They're also well able for animal hair and they go under/around furniture. That said, they're not for carpets...
