Hippychick bed mats - are they any good?

Just wondering if anyone's used them and if it's true that they won't make ds sweaty?

Bought one from ToysRUs and he doesn't last more than 1/2 an hour before he's wringing wet.

Am spending a fortune on Pampers disposable ones at the mo but feeling guilty at the waste - financial and environmental.

TIA

Don't know about these bed mats, but i found pmpers bed mats too expensive, especially as i need them for 2 children!!
I bought a bed mat from a specialist place on the net.
Its meant for people who're incontinent.
Actually covers a large area of the bed and has a non slip backing.

IMO the hippychick bed mats are great - I bought one for DD and it's far superior to the ones her 3 big brothers had. Very soft and non sweaty - the waterproof bit must be sandwiched in the middle. Also quite thin so great to take away.

I use the Hippychick mattress protectors and have found them brilliant as they are soft and don't have that plasticky feeling that alot of mats and protectors have. ALso the fitted one is great for the cot bed and it washes really well. Haven't had any problems with sweating.
Hope this helps.
