Nightdresses

Can anyone help me, I am looking for good old fashioned 100% cotton nightdresses (preferably pink) for my nearly 3yo dd. She is now refusing to wear a nappy at night, screams blue murder if she wakes up and finds nasty mummy has sneaked one on her. But she is getting up most nights for a wee, and coming to wake me up cos she can't get her PJ trousers back on.

In a flash of inspiration, I thought that if she had a nightie she could just sort herself out and maybe, MAYBE I could get an uniterrupted night's sleep for the first time since October.

Trouble is, I can't find any nighties anywhere, they are all PJs or shortie PJs. I live abroad and am confined to online shopping as local attire is v. dodge.

Have tried M&S, Boden, The WHite Co, Debenhams....am all internetted out. Any suggestions???

Hmm. GLTC do them but their website says it's being relaunched on Monday, so maybe worth trying tomorrow? Can't think of anwhere else offhand.

cq.....hello......are you new?......where do you live as some websites from the UK will deliver abroad and it depends where you live.

have you tried next. i'm not sure if they deliver abroad but I know you can order over the internet as long as you set up an account with them.

The GLTC ones used to be called Kids Stuff and they were just gorgeous - very thick cotton jersey and lovely prints. Worth hanging on for them if they're still the same.

La Redoute mostly do pyjamas but do have a Snoopy cotton nightshirt and a set of 2 plainish ones (one with short sleeves, one with straps) - they actually start at age 4, height 102, would that be OK? (If too big you could probably shrink them in the dryer!)

La Redoute home page - go to enfants and then pyjamas and track through the pages (they don't let you link to a page.)

M & S used to do them - my youngest has just grown out of ones bought for her sister. Whether or not they still do though.....

Thanks for all the suggestions - I will have a look at some of these sites tomorrow as it's midnight here now.

Collision - I am an infrequent visitor to MN chatrooms, I find myself turning to them when I need cheering up. I'm actually living in Egypt but coming home for a week at Easter, trying to get lots of online shopping done and delivered to my Mums so I don't have to trail round the high streets with 2 small children, not much of a rest.
