DH's birthday next week and I am so stuck but thought the door sign might be a nice touch but where to get it from?? Any ideas?

try a google for 'name plaque' - lots of craftspeople do them in wood / ceramic / modelling clay etc but I've never got one myself.

isn't it mummy's as well?
personally would put 'keep out on pain of severe telling off' if only the dcs could read..

can you get the children to make one? that would be really nice, they could make one out of clay!!

I'd google "daddy's study signs ". I bet you'd get something. I google everything!!!

not my study...just his as my computer is in another room (I wouldn't attempt to go in his pig sty!) Thanks for the advice..I found a website which do plain ones which I could write on but I like the idea of DS making one for him.

how about those wooden letters that you can get, normally to go on children's rooms?

I got dh a "Dad's Shed" (should have got the "Grumpy's Shed") sign on Bournemouth seafront. But that's probably no help at all.
