vague memories of going there as a kid, just wondering a)if its still actually there and b) if its worth dragging the kids round for school shoes. its not actually that far but would rather avoid unnecessary shopping trips with 3 small children, am wondering if its worth it or if i should just stick to asda

anyone been?

yes, its just down the road from me!

went with gobbledigook actually last week - it was heaving. She was looking for Doodles and they only had a couple of pairs - think there are lots of school type shoes though - lots of kids getting their feet measured.

thanks jools, you are a cumbria girl arent you? im about 20 mins south of kendal so its not far, i just despise shoe shopping. i dont suppose there will be anywhere that isnt heaving now v helpful to know there is stuff there tho. is it particularly cheap? i seem to remember they were mostly branded stuff at discount

Ooooo Jools, now I know you are so close I might have to send you out to the candle shop for me next time I am running low.

I spend a fortune in the one at K Village

last time I went it wasn't that much cheaper.

thanks nikkie, not sure its worth the hassle if its not much cheaper, especially if its really busy. might check it out when they are back at school instead
