Shall I give it a try?

Just got mine and am sadly excited by it . It doesn't start till September though so can't really comment on it other than it looks as though it will be really useful (if we actually look at it of course). Loving the tear-out shopping list and to do list as i'm a bit of a list freak and am constantly writing lists which I lose instantly so in principle this should be a good feature but time will tell...
I've not seen the calendar so can't compare

Hello,

this is the first I've heard of the calendar-but it certainly sounds like something I could use! Do you know where I can get some info on it?

I got a pocket life book and was disapointed as they no longer sell the covers for them

Thanks cmac

I don't have the calendar, but I bought the life book a few weeks ago and am pathetically excited by it. It has lovely perforated shopping lists, a month-to-view, loads of stickers... With the cover, it even zips up so it doesn't get all messy.

Am sorely tempted....

Go on! It's great, I'm on my second year of the life book (it's changed slightly and my only minor gripe is the fact you don't have as much space per day as you used to - but this is more than made up for with month to a view pages, notes and plans pages too!) I'm a little obsessed with the stickers

Mumsnet has just 'sold' me yet another 'gadget' ... just ordered the A5 Life Book (and heaps of stickers!!). I'm such a sucker for something different
