Xc90 vs honda frv vs ?

We will have about £5k to spend to replace our 7 seater which is going to cost too much at next mot and is generally old & knackered.

We need 6 seats. I like the Honda, dh likes the Volvo. I don't dislike the Volvo but mpg is pretty rubbish.

Does anybody have either of these and what are your views?

Any suggestions where we still get reasonable boot space but decent back seats? - don't like things like the Zafira.

Would appreciate any suggestions

Hondas are very reliable. Of the two, I'd go for a Honda.

Thanks fourlegs. I think we are going to go for the frv, I much prefer it I think. Although have only checked the cars out online, we won't be buying until later in the year so can't be doing with trudging around forecourts yet!
