Can anyone advise me on the merits of Nintendo DS vs PSP? I'm new to all this, but my 7 yr old son has set his heart on one of these (he's never had anything like this beefore.). Also, should I restrict the time he's allowed to play on it? How long is reasonable? Many thanks!

Thank you! Useful DH! Don't suppose you could ask him why Nintendo is last choice?

My kids have a DS each. They love them. DH has a PSP. The DS you can link up and play together. DH says PSP is better overall tho.

psp is waaay better. you can play games, watch videos and listen to music on it. DS is ok, but it is definately aimed at younger children.. can't understand it personally. In the long run a psp would be better, as less likely to get bored of it!
