Where can I get quality bedroom furniture for kids?

Dh seems to think we can get something more child friendly and 'interesting' than the bog standard pine chest of drawers etc...

My dd is moving into her 'big girls room' (nursery to go to little bro when he arrives) at the age of 21 months...

Any suggestions re where to source furniture?

Thanks very much

How about customising something yourself? You could get some cheapie second hand stuff and make it more interesting, or get some unfinished stuff from Ikea (bletch) and do the same.

Or they have nice stuff here as do lots of other websites, I would just do a google and browse till you find what you want!

We got a bed for dd from Aspace . It was a reasonable price and very good quality.

Try JJB ( www.jojomamnbebe.co.uk ) They do a fab range with prints on, esp. there pink petal range.

Also try 'Great Little Trading Company', and 'Urchin'

Brilliant!

Thanks for these suggestions - I've now looked at most of the websites suggested and they are just the sort of thing I was looking for

we bought a chest of drawers and wardrobe in white from Habitat (kids range) for dd. They often have 15% or 20% off promotions through magazines too.
