Phil and Teds E3 vs. Jane Powertwin - which is best?

I am just about to start a nanny share with another family and have to buy a double buggy. My daughter is 9 months and the other girl is 8 months.
Advice needed please on which double buggy to get. THink we are pretty decided on the Phil and Teds but the Jane Powertwin has made a late entry as it looks great and a friend with twins swears by it.
Advice???
Thanks!

As the children are so close in age i would go for the Powertwin.

As they are similar in age they might prefer sitting next to each other.

I am always the awkward one on these threads (had a Phil and Teds and hated it) - have you considered a double Mountain Buggy? There are quite a few of us devotees on here!

Phil & Teds - one child can't see making the powertwin a clear winner IMO I wouldn't be without mine!!

Hi there, just had to add my comments about the Phil & Ted, I am an owner & now also hate it as my youngest has passed the lying flat age. Too many greivances to write down. Don't hesitate buy the powertwin.

Bumping as I'm weighing up this choice too

If they are the same age I wouldn't use an E3...I have a 2.5y/o dd and a 5 m/o ds and now use my old powertack and a buggy board. I have an E3 and although it was brill for first few weeks when babay slept a lot, he grew out of lie flat at 3 m/o, and I HATE the fact that he was underneath facing the wrong way!! However, don't be deceived by the Powertwin claim that it is suitable from birth...it does not lie flat, so really can only use the rebel car seat for a baby to start with. For twins, or same age, why not a mountain buggy double...if only it would get through my front door....

bumping for views - P&T vs Jane - 2 LOs - age gap will be 2 yrs

Will it mainly be your nanny using this buggy ? If so, surely there's a lot to be said for getting a lightweight double umbrella fold, like a Maclaren. Wouldn't that be easier for her to use when out and about with the 2 girls ? It would be easier to fold and transport too.
