Need to buy a GPS satellite navigation system... which one?

It's a whole new world to me. Does anyone have an opinion on which one is the best, and why?

The TomTom One is very good. I think it's around £250

i have a tom tom and its great..........make sure you go for the all in one machine though....i had a pda which had a bluetooth GPS thing (which was tom tom), but it was crap....absolute waste of money.....glad ebay has such suckers!! (Not that i lied....the bloke who bought it is very happy with it, i have to add!!!)
