Please talk to me about business leasing

I currently have a Citroen C4 Picasso on a personal finance plan.

Since taking out the plan, I have started my own business and when the current plan is due to end in one year's time, I would be interested in leasing a car through my new limited company.

The thing is, I've been on a personal contract for about 8 years now, and don't have a clue about leasing.

What do I need to know? I just don't know where to begin.

It might be useful to know that what I enjoy about personal contracts is that:

  1. I get a new car every 3 years
  2. That car is under warranty
  3. No MOT costs
  4. Old (Citroen) car goes towards as a deposit for a new (Citroen) car, keeping monthly contract costs to around £300.

What I don't enjoy is that I feel I'm tied to Citroen. I don't like the look of the new C4 Picasso range and instead fancy a Mazda CX 5 or Nissan Qashqai.

Sorry, waffling now Blush Please, if anyone can lend insight, I'd very much appreciate your help.

I don't know much about it. PCPs and leasing are too expensive for us, but I do know you will need to check the tax implications of having the car provided through your business.

Okay, maybe this is something to seek advice about from an accountant?

Thank-you Smile
