More MPV talk - Honda FR-V? Anyone tried one?

We have an older-style Scenic at the moment and looking for a new car. Scenic has had a few reliability problems which has put us off a bit buying another one. Liked the upright position and visibility though. Looked at Verso but think boot is too small as we have ginormous mountain buggy to sling in the back (looks smaller than our current one), but like the idea of having an extra seat for one-off occasions. Prefer three full seats in the back (so not the Mazda 5 probably) but wonder if the Grand Scenic will be reliable enough. DH very taken with Honda! Any experiences?

not myself, but my brother recently bought an FR-V (to replace a scenic in fact)
They love it.Seems very roomy and comfortable, also Japanese cars always good for reliability. My bro says it's great to drive they are very pleased with it indeed. It also doesn't seem too huge and has decent storage space. I quite fancy one myself now.

Thanks Ms Cusack - I think we will look around for a test drive and see how it feels (esp to park!)

I think theirs has one of these beepy parking thingies so you know when you're about to back into the car behind...

Yes I really want one of those!
